Runway Malta A/W 2012

After the success of the two previous seasons of Malta's one and only international fashion event, we are back in full force this September!

Being held once more at the amazing Montekristo Estate in Luqa, this season's Runway is more creative, more artistic, more original and much more rock n roll!






With a fantastic line-up of international designers like Eleanor Amoroso, the return of the Maltese New Designer Competition and an array of the island's hottest DJs and live band, this season will also incorporate a fabulous new exhibition hall which will showcase some of the best Maltese artists, photographers and designers! 

Designed by the very talented photographer and architect, Kris Micallef, the space will be transformed into an artist's haven and include displayed art, interactive installations, competitions and lots more! 

FAB / Runway Malta competition at FASHIONCLASH Maastricht 2012 with winner Julia Schaetz

FASHIONCLASH will be there again along with F.A.B Fashion Across Borders.
Three talented designers from the Euregion Meuse-Rhine, Brian Geradts, Ann Boogaerts and FAB/Runway Malta  winning designer Julia Schaetz will be showing a collection each in this very diverse group show.

Maastricht & Euregio Meuse-Rhine 2018 bid book presentation

In 2018, the Netherlands and Malta will be providing the two European Capitals of Culture. In December 2008 and 2009, the Maastricht municipal council decided to put the city forward as a candidate. Maastricht will not be alone, because the candidacy is being supported by the Dutch Province of Limburg and is being shaped in close cooperation with our partners Aachen, Liège, Heerlen, Hasselt and Sittard-Geleen. The Belgian provinces of Limburg and Liège, the Aachen region and the German-speaking Community in Belgium are also involved. That means that Maastricht is a candidate on behalf of the entire Meuse-Rhine Euroregion.

Maastricht & Euregio Meuse-Rhine joined forces to become a candidate European Capital of Culture for 2018. For several years now the Maastricht VIA2018 organisation worked hard on the concept for the bid book. Last night the very first version of the bid book was presented in a full house at Theater aan het Vrijthof in Maastricht. Everyone who is somehow invloved in culture in this Euregio was there.

Marius Op 't Eynde

FASHIONCLASH and SO Management teamed up and created this shoot with photographer Kris Micallef.
The shoot took place in SAMdecorfabriek, amazing location where the 4th edition of 'FASHIONCLASH Maastricht' event will take place 8 - 10 June 2012.

Marius Op 't Eynde graduated from ArtEZ last summer with this SS2012 menswear collection "9'572".
