Looking for unique Christmas presents with a story? From Thursday 1st December untill Sunday 18th December, fashion platform Acreati will present its XMAS Pop-up Shop & Exhibition at Entre Deux (Level 2) in collaboration with Forza Fashion House Maastricht. Centrummanagement Maastricht will provide an interesting cultural program as part of the Magic Cultural Festival in Maastricht.

The pop-up features an outspoken selection of independent fashion designers together with contemporary photography. With a special storytelling approach Acreati and Forza Fashion House introduce you to a new shopping experience, where you get an insight on designers’ collections through photography and art.

Fashion photographer Valentina Vos (30)will be giving a Fashion Photography Talk on Sunday 18th of December at the XMAS Pop Up & Exhibition. Valentina studied at the Maastricht Academy of Fine Arts & Design. She has worked with various leading fashion magazines such as Glamour NL, L'Officiel NL, Glamcult, JFK Magazine, Vice, news papers suchs as Volkskrant and Het Parool, and companies Tommy Hilfiger, CitizenM Hotels, Men at Work, Hema, Ace & Tate and many more. She is known for her elegant polished fashion snapshots, combined with humor and originality.

Acreati x FASHIONCLASH Festival

Acreati ‘Shop Through Visual Stories’ Pop-up shop + Exhibition during FASHIONCLASH Festival

Acreati collaborates with FASHIONCLASH to bring its online contemporary fashion platform offline to the vibrant city of Maastricht. During the weekend of FASHIONCLASH Festival, Acreati will present an exhibition + pop-up showcasing its unique curation of documentary, fine art, and fashion photography, together with selected pieces of independent designers. You can shop hard-to-find fashion items directly at the pop-up store.
 The ‘shop through visual stories’ concept is developed by Acreati with a manifesto to change the overly commercial approach to fashion. By interpreting fashion through photography and art, Acreati aspires to uncover authentic design stories and bring back the essence of fashion.

In addition the ‘Shop Through Visual Stories’ Exhibition + Pop-Up will also take place during Mercedes-Benz FashionWeek Amsterdam in the same weekend.

De BRANDWEERKANTINE is a creative melting pot and meeting place for weekly markets, great events, delicious kitchen and during FASHIONCLASH Festival you can visit the Outspoken Designer Store by Galerie Majke Hüsstege.
Outspoken Designer Store is part of contemporary art gallery Majke Hüsstege. A melting pot of fashion, design and art. A place where creative minds from various directions come together. The design store that offers you a broad and regularly updated collection of contemporary design products in fashion, lifestyle, interior, accessories and jewellery. The collection consists of unique and limited edition design items, next to products from design labels. The store is showcasing over 60 talented designers, all of whom have one commonality: their high quality designs.

MIJNshop - MIJNcollectie Preview

Voor het Jaar van de Mijnen brengen SCHUNCK*, M2015 FASHIONCLASH en 100% Heerlen een ‘update’ van de oude mijnwerkerskleding. Drie jonge Zuid-Limburgse ontwerpers, Linda Friesen, Ebby Port en Gabriel Guevara presenteren hun hedendaagse interpretaties van mijnwerkerskleding als ‘een tweede huid’ voor Heerlen. De ontwerpen zijn geïnspireerd op de culturele gemeenschappen van de verschillende migrantengroepen die hier kwamen werken.

De MIJNcollectie wordt gepresenteerd en verkocht in de MIJNshop, een pop-up store gehuisvest in een leegstaand pand op Bongerd 4, Heerlen. Jongeren van het leerwerkbedrijf 100% Heerlen voegen maandelijks n.a.v. een vereenvoudigd patroon, tien commerciële exemplaren aan de MIJNcollectie toe. Vrijwilligers uit de verschillende wijken bemannen de pop-up store. Deze pop-up store dient tevens als het officiële informatiepunt van M2015.

FAB Pop-Up Store in Hasselt

The Fabulous FAB Pop-up Store is open from the 15th of November 2014 until the 15th of January 2015 at Kapelstraat 45, Hasselt.

After successful editions in Hasselt (2011), Maastricht (2012), Aachen (2013), FAB Pop-Up Store returned in Hasselt and opened for the 4th time. Fashion Across Borders npo (FAB), is a collaboration between Fashion Museum Hasselt, FASHIONCLASH (Maastricht) and Designmetropole Aachen.
This Euregional fashion platform was founded to support fashion talent and the fashion industry within the Euregion Meuse-Rhine. FAB enables emerging talents to show the world what they are capable of with a fabulous FAB Pop-Up store.

FASHIONCLASH Side Program: FEE Academy pop-up store

On the 12th of June, the pop-up stores located in the Mosae Forum will open their doors for the FASHIONCLASH Festival Side-Program. The three designers participating in the FEE Academy, Jet Teunis, Mirte Engelhard and Ine de Haes will be presenting their work. Lucky for you, you will be able to purchase it!

FASHIONCLASH Side Program 2014

During the FASHIONCLASH Festival 2014, we are not just offering amazing fashion shows, a mind-blowing exhibition, and an exciting Designer Market. No, the whole city of Maastricht is participating in the FASHIONCLASH Side Program. Pop-up stores, exhibitions, lectures, movies, special events in selected boutiques and cultural spots will be spread across Maastricht and turn the FASHIONCLASH Festival into a truly unforgettable event. 

On the 12th of June, the side program will be officially opened with a fashion show at the Bijenkorf at 7pm. After the fashion show, you will be able to relax in the dark rooms of the Lumière Cinema that will show a selection of fashion films during the Fashion Film Night Out. But besides that, what will happen during the Side Program? Let me warn you, it’s going to be busy, so grab your walking shoes and follow the guide! 

FASHIONCLASH Side Program: Fashion Freax

The FASHIONCLASH Side Program, held during the FASHIONCLASH Festival, is supporting different platforms that fit the FASHIONCLASH concept: new spaces for young designers to showcase their work. One of those is the online sales platform, Fashion Freax that will be allocated a pop up store in the Mosae Forum during the festival.
