There are fashion shows, an exhibition, graduation show of the fashion & textile department of Academy of Fine Arts Maastricht, and more.

FASHIONCLASH is looking for models

Boys & Girls, FASHIONCLASH is looking for models for the second edition of the fashion event ' FASHIONCLASH MAASTRICHT'.
The event will take place on 4, 5 & 6th of June 2010 in Timmerfabriek/ Maastricht.

FASHIONCLASH MAASTRICHT is an international fashion event where young and talented designers are showing their work to a broad audience. The graduation show of the ABKM (fashion department of the Art Academy Maastricht) is a part of the event.

28th edition of Modefabriek

24 & 25 Januari 2010/ Amsterdam



The 28th edition of modefabriek will be starting in just over a week's time.The programme includes 600 national and international fashion labels, which will be demonstrating what's going on in the fashion world via a multitude of experiences.

Laurens Hamacher of FASHIONCLASH will take part in ' VERSATILE BELGIUM'.

VERSATILE BELGIUM
The Belgian platform entitled 'Belgium presents ..., curated by Label.' shows 'that Belgium has a great deal more on offer than just Antwerp's six', according to curator Stéphanie Duval. The supply varies from photography to product and accessory design. Some of the participating fashion designers include big names like Walter van Beirendonck and Dirk van Saene, but also recently graduated designers like Lenny Leleu. Plus work by, for example, Ti+Hann, Sonny VandeVelde, Monsieur Bul, La Fille d'O, Liebet Bussche, Maison Caro, Michaël Verheyden, Kaspar Hamacher and Maarten de Ceulaer can also be admired.

An exhibition that sows an overview of his work so far. Besides his own work he chose to show the work of few designers that inspired him such as Ettore Sattsass, Ron Arad and Shiro Kurumata. At the opening Maurice presented a catalogue which is published for this exhibition. Well designed limited edition catalogue, by design studio B2B from Maastricht.
Nice exhibition but the best way to experience the work of Maurice Mentjens: come to Maastricht and go to Stash shop, Kymyka shop, visit the exhibition in Centre Ceramique then have lunch in Ipanema cafe and have dinner in Witlof restuarant.

For the third time i-fabriek took place and this time in Ainsi in Maastricht.
Great initiative with interesting lectures,installations and encounters. FASHIONCLASH took part by joining the table with Frans Pollux for an interview, which was a very nice conversation!
There could have been more audience; where are all the creatives from Maastricht!!!
