Now living in Milan, Italy, the two designers of Label2 are Alen Pinku, originally from Serbia, and Andrea Popovic, from Bosnia. The two met during their studies and started working togther.
You are from Serbia but you are living in Italy at the moment. How do you perceive those two environments in terms of fashion and style?
That is quite interesting, and we are very proud about our rich history, which is always present as the idea. At the beginning, both of us had different views, but living and growing up here slowly changed our minds.
What inspires you in general?
Music, people, art, details…
What is it like to be a young designer in your city/country?
It is quite difficult, but we are fighters.
What place/city do you find inspiring? Berlin, Eastern Europe.
What is the concept behind your latest collection?
The mix between nineties and freedom in that decade and Japanese minimalism.

Easy+line+minimal
What kind of feeling do you want to transfer with your latest collection?
Freedom to wear avant-garde ease.
Did you always wanted to work in the field of fashion?
Unfortunately YES :)

No, we don’t have one in a particular.
Who is your favorite fashion designer?
Rey Kawakubo, Balenciaga, Alexander Wang, Riccardo Tisci.
What is so far your greatest experience in your 'fashion' career?
We are expecting yet to come.
What is on your music list while your making your collection?
The mix of electronic music with a bass anytime.

Morning sunshine in Milan.
What is the latest thing you bought for yourself?
Alen: wood table lamp (handmade) Andrea: accessories for my bike
