Call for European Fashion Talent Design Competition 2018

ABOUT EFTDC Serbia Fashion Week and the National Chamber of Fashion Serbia organize a international platform to identify and support young designers – European Fashion Talents Design Competition.

The aim of this competition is to give young designers the opportunity to achieve and develop an international career in the fashion industry. Interested candidates must be students of fashion design or from an other creative department. Young designers under 30 years may also apply. The ones who win the first three places will receive amazing awards and support in furthering theirs careers in fashion.

Moda Mišić at FASHIONCLASH Festival 2016

Meet Serbian designer Ivana Mišić (Moda Mišić) winner of Fashion Design Talent Competition at Serbia Fashion Week. Her price included participation at FASHIONCLASH Festival 2016.

FASHIONCLASH teamed up with Serbian Fashion Week  with aim to support young talent by means of talent exchange. Part of the SFW programme was the FDTC for Serbian designers, the winner of the competition wins FCF participation. Ivana is following Zorica Jadranski, the winner of FTDC 2015.

When did you realize you wanted to be a fashion designer? How long have you been designing clothing? 
When I was a child, I wanted to be a fashion designer when I grow up. My mum sewed me everything I wanted and always according to my idea. Then, when time came, I started going to High school for textile and design and on my second year of study I started designing seriously and actively. Since then 10 years have past.

EFTDC - European Fashion Design Talent Competition

Serbia Fashion Week calls  students of all the Academies of Fashion Design in Europe to participate in a contest. 

Following the success of the FTDC - Fashion Design Talent Competition in 2014, a competition at a national level, SFW decided to give an opportunity to students from European countries. So, in 2015 they will organize the EFTDC - European Fashion Design Talent Competition.
This is an exceptional opportunity for young talents who want to break into the top of the fashion scene.

Winner of FTDC - Fashion Design Talent Competition 2014, Zorica Jadranski won participation at FASHIONCLASH Festival 2015.
