Dioralop is a label by two female designers from Croatia. Hailing from the island of Pag, Croatia, Andreja Bistričić is a 31-year-old fashion designer with a graduate diploma in fashion from Central Saint Martins in London. Maja Merlić is a 22-year-old student in architecture at the Faculty of Architecture & Urbanism in Zagreb
The two of them are best friends and founded Dioralop together. The collections are inspired by Polaroid pictures which were created by intentional spills of chemicals and by exposing them to different temperatures. This way the pictures get different colors. Dioralop is the quirky palindrome of Polaroid, meaning it's simply spelled backwards.

As both designers are inspired by God, the concept of their latest collection is also influenced by biblical topics. The name of the recent Dioralop collection is 4. The number 4 represents everything that is created, it is a beginning of everything material and the end of God’s creative cycle, as the designers explain. On the 4th day God separated light from darkness by creating two lights - one to rule the day and the other to enlighten the night. Because of that, Dioralop created four prints: Two of them represent the darkness and the other two lightness.
