Amsterdam-based cosmetics brand ELLIS FAAS is on a crusade, but a different one from religious crusades. We want you to follow your own sense of beauty. M.A.C Cosmetics at FASHIONCLASH Festival 2016

M.A.C Cosmetics and FASHIONCLASH relationship dates back to 2009. Ever since, each edition of FASHIONCLASH Festival the M.A.C Cosmetics team created makeup looks for the fashion shows providing stunning beauty looks for the models and collections for the emerging designers.

Meet Georgina Santiago from Spain

Please introduce yourself: 
My name is Georgina Santiago, I am from Igualada, a town near Barcelona, Spain, and I graduated in June 2012 at ESDI, Barcelona. Nowadays, I create synergies between fashion and art with a constant obsession for color.

What inspires you in general?

Colors are my main inspiration. I found out that color can tell more than a word.

Where are you based?

I am based in my hometown, Igualada.

What is it like to be a young designer in your city/country?

I used to go to Barcelona several times a week, to look for materials and inspiration. My town is just too small, but being a designer near Barcelona is grateful. There is a good cultural scene, music, galleries, restaurants, bookshops...but there is also a lack of other things that cities like Berlin or Amsterdam have.

We’re Chequita Nahar & Christiaan Lebens, together CC, jewellery designers who both graduated from The ABKM. Chequita was born in Suriname and Christiaan was born in The Netherlands. We both come from different backgrounds but share a passion for materials and beauty. Not only beauty as an esthetic component, but also from a critical point of view. The use of natural materials is given a luxurious feeling through special treatments.
